OK, ok... forget that! Its only John, right now! There's already a page on this website about him... we really don't need another one!
John is very much commited to seeking wise counsel, and his Pastor is Bruce Brock who leads the 1,500 member Faith Community Church in Tucson, Arizona. John and Bruce first met as far back as 1987, and John sees him as a wonderful and sound Bible teacher, a very wise and trusted leader, as well as a dear personal friend.
John also looks to Dr. Carl Conley as an advisor. Carl has a wealth of Christian ministry experience as well as being a doctor of law. Dr. Conley oversees over 2,000 churches around the world through FCCI (Faith Community Churches International).
John is very much desiring to see a team of elders in place at King's Church, believing that the New Testament teaches that a local Church should be led by a plurality of male elders. Therefore, though it is important not to rush things, other men will be joining John in serving the local Body on the eldership team, as the Lord leads and guides.
We are very much about the task of developing both men and women for various assignments and leadership roles in the Church. We look to God to build a great team of like minded disciples of Christ to serve both King's Church and the surrounding community - so watch this space... we're not done yet! Not by a long way.
